My Take

The Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card is one of my favorite cards in the Chase business lineup — and not just because it has no annual fee. When you pair it with a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred®, the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ or the Chase Ink Business Preferred® the cash back it earns becomes transferable points that you can move to airline and hotel partners. That changes everything.

Here's how it works: on its own, the Ink Cash earns cash back. But if you also hold a card like the Ink Business Preferred®, Chase Sapphire Preferred®, or Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you can combine your points into one account and unlock full transfer partner access. Suddenly those 5% office supply store purchases become 5x Ultimate Rewards points — one of the best earning rates in the entire Chase ecosystem.

The 5% category is genuinely useful for small business owners. Office supply stores, internet, cable, and phone services — up to $25,000 per year. If your business has a monthly internet and phone bill, you're already earning at 5x before you walk into a store.

One important heads up about the welcome offer: Chase recently introduced lifetime language on the no-annual-fee Ink cards — meaning you can only earn a welcome offer once across either the Ink Cash or Ink Unlimited. This makes it more important than ever to time your application during an elevated offer period rather than grabbing the card at a standard offer.

And if you're thinking about applying as a sole proprietor and you've held one of these cards before, there's something important you need to know. As of March 2026, almost everyone applying as a sole proprietor for a second no-annual-fee Ink card is hitting a pop-up at application telling them they aren't eligible for the welcome offer. The data points we're seeing suggest you're more likely to be eligible if you apply with an LLC or corporation (like an S Corp or C Corp) rather than as a sole proprietor.

Bottom line: if you haven't held this card before, the Ink Cash is an excellent addition to a Chase points strategy — especially as a complement to a premium Ink or Sapphire card. Apply at a strong offer, know your business entity situation going in, and this card can be a workhorse for years.

Offer History

The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card is currently running an elevated welcome offer of 100,000 bonus points after $8,000 in purchases in the first 4 months — one of the highest offers we've seen on this card. This offer launches June 15, 2026.
The standard offer on this card has ranged between $750 cash back (75,000 points) and $900 cash back (90,000 points) over the years. Elevated offers like this one are the best time to apply — and given the lifetime language now in place on no-annual-fee Ink cards, timing your application to a strong offer is more important than ever. You only get one shot at the welcome offer across both the Ink Cash and Ink Unlimited, so make it count.
As of March 2026, sole proprietors applying for a second no-annual-fee Ink card are frequently hitting a pop-up during the application process indicating they are not eligible for the welcome offer. Data points suggest better approval odds for the welcome offer when applying as an LLC or corporation.
