For an $89 annual fee, this welcome offer punches above its weight. Spend $3,000 in your first 90 days of account opening and you'll earn 70,000 Flying Blue miles plus 100 Experience Points (XP) toward elite status. Here's how I think about the miles side of that math: at roughly 1.3 cents apiece, 70,000 Flying Blue miles works out to somewhere around $900 in travel value — enough to meaningfully offset a flight to Europe on Air France or KLM, especially once you start transferring in miles from other flexible points currencies. The 100 XP is a nice head start too, since it gets you Flying Blue Silver status right away (math below). For a modest spend requirement and a low annual fee, that's a strong combination.

Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® credit card

For a card that only costs $95 a year, the welcome offer here is genuinely worth paying attention to. Spend $3,000 in your first 90 days and you’ll earn 60,000 Atmos points and a Companion Fare priced at $99, with taxes and fees running from about $23 on top of that. Keep going to $5,000 in total spend within those same 90 days and you’ll pick up an additional 20,000 points, bringing the points total to 80,000. Here’s how I think about the points side of that math: at roughly 1.5 cents apiece, 80,000 Atmos points translates to somewhere around $1,200 worth of travel, and even the 60,000 you get at the first tier is worth around $900. That’s a strong return for the spend, especially if you already have some larger purchases coming up that you can put toward the second tier. The Companion Fare is harder to put a firm number on, since its real value comes down to what your travel companion’s ticket would have cost otherwise. I’ve personally seen people pull off savings north of $500 on the right itinerary. If you want to stay conservative, though, planning for something closer to $200 in savings is a safer bet.
Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® credit card

This is one of those offers worth building an actual redemption plan around: spend $6,000 within your first 90 days and the Atmos Summit hands you 100,000 points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award. The spend requirement is higher than the Summit’s offers have sometimes been, but what you get for it is hard to ignore, especially given where Atmos Rewards sits in the broader points and miles world. It’s routinely ranked among the strongest programs out there, particularly for international business class redemptions, so putting $6,000 of everyday spending toward 100,000 points before you’ve even started earning day-to-day is an efficient way to build a travel fund fast. To make that tangible: 100,000 Atmos points on their own is enough to book a business class seat to Europe departing from the West Coast with points left over, and the companion award gives you a way to bring a second traveler along.
