Ink Business Premier® Credit Card

Business Owners Who Prefer Cash Back

Ink Business Premier® Credit Card

Annual fee: $195

Current welcome offer

Earn $1,000 bonus cash back once you spend $10,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening

My Take

The Ink Business Premier is built for a specific kind of spender: the business owner who regularly makes big single purchases. Inventory orders, equipment, contractor payments, whatever it is, any purchase of $5,000 or more earns 2.5% cash back, uncapped. Everything smaller than that still earns a solid 2%. There's no bonus category gymnastics here, just a rate that gets better the bigger your purchase is.

One thing worth knowing before you apply: this is a charge card at heart, but it's got some flexibility built in. Chase splits your credit line into Pay in Full and Flex for Business, so your purchases are typically due in full each month, but if you need to carry a portion over with interest, you can. That's a nice safety valve for a business card in this fee range.

The catch, and it's an important one if you're already deep into Chase Ultimate Rewards: the cash back you earn here doesn't combine or transfer with your other Ultimate Rewards-earning cards. It's really its own thing, straight cash back only, no path to airline or hotel transfer partners. If you're chasing transferable points, the Ink Business Preferred or Cash are a better fit alongside this one.

On the 5/24 front, Chase will still check your 5/24 status when you apply, so you need to be under it to get approved. But once you're in, it doesn't report to your personal credit and won't count against future personal Chase applications. That makes it a smart pick for someone building a Chase card stack who wants big cash back without spending one of their precious 5/24 slots going forward.

Is This Card Right For You?

✓ Best for

Business owners who regularly make large individual purchases ($5,000+)

Anyone who wants free employee cards and built-in purchase protections

Chase cardholders who are under 5/24 now and want to add a business card without using up future slots

Businesses that want flexibility to carry a portion of a large purchase with Flex for Business

✗ Not ideal for

Anyone building a stack of transferable Ultimate Rewards points — this card's cash back doesn't combine with other Ink or Sapphire cards

Businesses whose purchases are mostly under $5,000, where the 2.5% tier rarely kicks in

Those who'd rather have a $0 annual fee business cash back card (the Ink Business Cash or Unlimited may fit better)

Offer History

The $1,000 bonus after $10,000 in spend within the first 3 months is the current standard offer on the Ink Business Premier and is in line with what we've generally seen for this card.
