My Take
I'll be upfront: I hold this card for Vacation Pointers, and I opened it when it launched. So I have real skin in the game here — and real opinions.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ is the most powerful card in the Chase business ecosystem, and it's the one I'd build around if you're a business owner who travels regularly and is serious about maximizing points. At $795 a year, the annual fee is significant — but before you close the tab, let's talk about the welcome offer first, because it changes the math dramatically.
The current elevated offer is 200,000 bonus points after $30,000 in purchases in your first 6 months. That's a rare return of the launch offer — and at roughly 2 cents per point in travel value, that's potentially $4,000 in travel from the welcome bonus alone. This is one of those offers where I'd encourage you to use the benefits calculator on this page to figure out how much ongoing annual value you'd get on top of that — because for many business owners, the card essentially pays for itself year after year before you even factor in the points.
Here's what I think makes this card especially important right now: the Chase to Hyatt transfer ratio recently changed on both the Chase Sapphire Preferred and the Ink Preferred, dropping from 1:1 to 4:3. The Sapphire Reserve for Business still transfers to Hyatt at 1:1. If you're a Hyatt loyalist — and with Ross holding Globalist, we absolutely are — this card is now one of the best cards in the Chase lineup for protecting your Hyatt point value.
The earning structure is excellent for business owners who use Chase Travel. 8x on Chase Travel purchases (including The Edit) and 4x on flights and hotels booked directly is genuinely competitive with anything on the market. And 3x on social media and search engine advertising is a category that most business card issuers completely ignore — but if you're running ads for your business, that's a real differentiator.
The lounge access is premium: Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club (named Best Credit Card Lounge Network in 2026 by The Points Guy), plus 1,300+ Priority Pass lounges worldwide — all with two complimentary guests. The business credits (ZipRecruiter, Google Workspace, DoorDash) won't appeal to everyone, but if they align with spending you're already doing, they go a long way toward offsetting the annual fee.
My honest bottom line: if you're a business owner who travels, uses Chase Travel, values Hyatt transfers at 1:1, and can put $30,000 on the card in six months — this is the card to get right now while the elevated offer is live.

Offer History
he Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business launched in June 2025 with a 200,000-point welcome offer after $30,000 in purchases in 6 months. That offer was reduced to 150,000 points after $20,000 in 3 months in January 2026.
The 200,000-point offer has now returned as an elevated limited-time offer — the same launch offer that made this card one of the most talked-about business cards of 2025. If you've been waiting to apply, this is the moment. The welcome offer is not available if you have ever previously held this card.
