How to Hang a Wreath With Ribbon on Your Front Door
As the seasons change I like to change out the wreath hanging on my door and I almost always use a metal wreath hanger. But this Christmas I ended up having 2 wreaths that I wanted to hang, and for the life of me, I could not find our second metal hanger anywhere in storage! So instead of leaving the house, I started to research ways to hang a wreath on a door without a metal hanger. As it turned out, I already had everything I needed so it cost me nothing! So if you’re looking for ways to hang a wreath without damaging your door, here’s my new trick on how to hang a wreath with ribbon!
How to Make a Kids Zombie Costume
Last year my son was adamant that he was going to be a “scary zombie” for Halloween. Keep in mind that I had already bought 6 costumes on clearance at Target the previous year during after-Halloween sales just to avoid overspending and the last minute rush before Halloween the following year (See my post on how I save money on just about everything to read more about after holiday Target clearance). But thankfully a zombie costume is one of the easiest costumes to DIY. Here’s how to make a zombie costume for kids with things you probably already have around the house.
Simple DIY Candy Themed Party Decorations
After being home for what feels like FOREVER, I have been tempted to minimize family celebrations. But now that my son’s birthday is right around the corner I just didn’t want him to think that his day was any less special this year. Because it’s not! There will still be cake, there will still be balloons, and there will still be fun.

How to Make Dairy Free Whipped Coffee
I’m sure you’ve seen it all over social media. Whipped Coffee is everywhere. And if you’re fancy and in the know, you call it Dalgona Coffee. It’s apparently taking the quarantined world by storm and it’s easy to see why. As soon as I saw a gourmet looking coffee drink I could make at home and that looked better than something I could get from the Starbucks drive-thru, I knew I needed to try it.
Date Night Ideas When You’re Stuck At Home
We’re currently on day 14 of our CoronaVirus lockdown. Anyone know what day of the week it is? Cause I’ve been wearing the same pair of yoga pants for 3 days straight, our extra quarantine snacks are long gone and it’s possible that I may have forgotten how to drive a car. Seriously, I don’t even know where my keys are.
But I’m starting to think we might need to adjust to our new normal for longer than I had anticipated. Our schools here in PA just extended the closures until mid April, and chances are it could be longer than that. So some of the normal things we used to take for granted may need to… well, adapt. And that includes date night.

Thinking about giving that Whole30 thing a try? Well, you’ve come to the right place because I’m about to save you a few unexpected trips to the grocery store. How to Quickly Organize Your Pantry
There’s just something about the transition from the Christmas season to the New Year that puts the drive in me to make all things new and clean and organized. Wether I follow through or not is another issue, but at least the desire is there. So while I’m feeling motivated, I’m starting with my kitchen. Or more specifically my pantry.
Whole30 Recipes Your Kids Will Actually Eat
Last September my husband and I decided to take on the Whole30. But as you might know we have 3 kids. And one of my biggest pet peeves is having to make not 1, but 2 dinners in order to appease everyone. So it was really important that I find kid-friendly recipes that not only met the requirements of the Whole30, but that wouldn’t cause a scene at the dinner table.
So began our 30 days of trial and error…
