Well, I guess it’s not really news now. If you have a Disney World vacation planned anytime between now and April you have probably received the devastating news that Disney World is closing its gates beginning on March 16, 2020 until at least April 1, 2020.

As you start to plan your Disney vacation, you may be considering what options are available for travel within the “World.” If you’re staying at a Disney resort, you know that there is always the option to take Disney provided shuttle buses to and from the parks each day. And of course there’s always Uber and Lyft if you want a private ride. But another option to keep in mind is Disney’s own personal shuttle service with the adorably appointed name.

It’s no secret. A Disney vacation is expensive.

To be fair, Disney has an amazing product to offer, and they know it. And no matter how expensive it gets, people still flock there with wallets open wide and a smile on their face. And I’m right there with them wearing my Disney tee and Mickey ears. So as long as people are willing to pay the prices they charge we won’t be seeing any major drop in price any time soon.

One of my favorite things to do before our Disney trips are over, is to pick out a souvenir to remind of us one of our favorite places on earth (I know, so dramatic. But seriously, we love it so much!)

But you may have noticed a theme around here. I don’t like to spend a lot of money… on ANYTHING.

So if you’re like me, and you like to save money like it’s a sport, I’ve compiled this list for you…

I don’t have to tell you that the prices at theme parks are inflated for almost everything. And Disney is no exception. Before we left for our last Disney trip I made sure to buy everything on this list. Because you won’t catch me paying $15 for a plastic poncho, even if it does have that cute Mickey on it. I’d rather be soaked in silent protest.

Of course you can buy almost everything on this list when you get there. But if you buy them ahead of time you’ll save a ton…
