Cheap Disney World Souvenirs and Where to Find Them!

So you’ve booked your trip, your fast passes have been selected, and you even know where you want to eat. But have you thought about what Disney World souvenirs you want to buy?

I know you’re thinking, “it’s too soon!” But I have often found myself on the last day of a trip scrambling to find the perfect souvenir to take home. And I don’t just want to bring home a tacky t-shirt, but something I’ll actually use and love without spending a fortune.

So here is my list of favorite souvenirs and where to find them. And better yet, all of them can be purchased for less than $20, cause you know I love a deal.

1. Mickey Ears

These are by far my favorite collectible souvenir. What says “Disney” like a cute set of ears? For less than $20 you can take home a wearable, personalized, and embroidered item for every member of your family. Plus they make for a great photo op!

Where to find them:

  • The Chapeau in Magic Kingdom
  • Adrian & Edith’s Head to Toe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Mouse Gear in Epcot
  • Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories at Disney Springs

2. Autograph Books

While the autographs themselves are free, you can upgrade your souvenir by purchasing an official Disney autograph book at most gift shops on the property. But my suggestion is to buy these ahead of time because you will likely run into a character as soon as you enter a park.

Where to find them:

  • Disney gift shops
  • On Amazon here (Official Disney product)
  • or here (cheaper alternative)

3. Trading Pins

We don’t take part in pin trading because I know how out of hand it could get. But Disney Pins have easily become the most popular Disney merchandise out there. They start at $8.99 a pin so if you choose the right pins you could potentially go home with 2 pins for less than $20.

Where to find them:

  • At booths and stores throughout the parks
  • Cheaper Alternative- buy these pins and these lanyards on Amazon before you go to help get you started!)

4. Coffee Mugs

Who doesn’t love sipping their morning coffee out of a cute mug. And it’s even better when it’s a reminder of the Happiest Place on Earth.

Where to find them: gift shops throughout the resorts and parks. You can find them with just about any character, park, or resort on them.

5. First Haircut

This is still one of my favorite Disney memories! When my son was little we took him to the barber shop in the Magic Kingdom for his first haircut. The current price is $19 and includes a First Haircut certificate, a lock of hair to keep, and a special pair of Mickey Ears for your little guy or gal. Seriously, how cute is this?

Where to go: The Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Look for the striped barber pole at the top left corner of the round about as you first enter the park.

6. A Sweet Treat

One of my favorite low cost, edible souvenirs to take home is a Disney themed rice crispy treat or a candy apple. You can find them at most of the candy or sweet shops and they come in all sorts of characters or themes. They make a great gift for someone back home!

Where to find them:

  • Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Treats at Magic Kingdom
  • Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs
  • Karamell-Küche at Epcot
  • Beverly Sunset at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

7. A Christmas Ornament

Our family buys an ornament every time we visit a new place. But even if you don’t, a Disney ornament makes a great low cost souvenir and they are so many designs to choose from!

Where to find them: most gift shops will sell a few varieties, but for the largest selection try Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe located in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney’s Days of Christmas shop in Disney Springs.

8. Magnets

We bought these cute Mickey clip magnets for around $10 last time we were in the parks. They may not sell these exact ones anymore but there are others like it. Plus they are a fun and useful daily reminder of our family vacation!

Where to find them: Try the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs.

9. A Keychain

Perhaps it’s a cliche souvenir, but there’s a reason, right? They’re cheap and useful and there are so many to choose from!

Where to find them: Again, pretty much any Disney gift shop.

10. Silhouette Portraits

Want to bring home something unique that doubles as home decor? Portraits cost around $12 for one person but prices are discounted when you add more to your package.

Where to find them:

  • Main Street U.S.A in Magic Kingdom. As you walk toward the castle there is a small alley way on your right hand side about half way down Main Street U.S.A.
  • Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom
  • The France Pavilion in Epcot
  • The silhouette portrait cart in the Market Place area at Disney Springs

Happy shopping!
